Our renewables division offers closed loop concepts covering innovative and eco-friendly production of glycerine, glycerine derivates, epichlorohydrin, epoxy resins, internal waste management and the recovery of resources. Our efficient technologies utilize renewable feedstocks like vegetable oil, sugar or wood for the production of sustainable chemicals.

KVT offers a wet process technology for the recovery, regeneration and production of sulfuric acid from various types of off-gases, spent acid or sulfur burning. The process is based on wet-catalytic oxidation, or the combination of thermal and catalytic oxidation, of sulfur bearing compounds and the formation of sulfuric acid. A smart tail-gas treatment system allows to reach exceptional low SO2 emissions at stack.

Treating effluents is a key concern of KVT. Industrial off-gases, wastewaters and sludges are a significant challenge for the industry but can also represent an opportunity to recover valuable resources and increase plant efficiency. The fast growing demand for cost effectiveness and rational use of resources have resulted in exceptional solutions for your waste stream. With our extensive
experience, we are able to treat waste streams for the chemical, oleochemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, fibre, metallurgical or coating industries as well as for many other manufacturing processes.
